Synopsis
In ages past, a mysterious shrine maiden confined nature spirits within forest trees to keep them from causing destruction across the land. In the present day, her descendant, a spirited young princess named Suzu, is forbidden from going outside. But one day, after sneaking into the area known as the "forbidden zone," Suzu finds an unusual seed that grows into a mischievous nature spirit. Accompanied by this new friend, Suzu is thrilled to explore the outside world she has been kept from, unaware of the dangers hidden within the forbidden zone and the reason the seed was placed there.
