Synopsis
The Monster of Frankenstein offers a fairly conventional adaptation of Mary Shelley's classic novel. Within the gloomy confines of a foreboding castle, scientist Dr Victor Frankenstein conducts a ghastly experiment intended to resurrect the dead. Assisted by an aide, he succeeds in reanimating a being constructed from parts scavenged from corpses, yet the resulting creature proves to be both unpredictable and terrifying. Dr Frankenstein flees to his home in Switzerland, leaving his assistant behind with orders to destroy the monster. However, the doctor soon discovers he cannot hide from his shameful secret indefinitely, as mysterious murders occur around him, forcing him to wonder if his creation has truly perished.
