Fantasia Sango: Realm of Legends

Synopsis

After the failure of the Taipingtao Revolution, China remains trapped in endless conflict as surviving rebel factions continue to fight. The massive loss of life from the rebellion has produced a miasma thick with lingering negative energy, which spawns dangerous entities called wangliang. These beings possess humans, transforming them into demonic creatures that cause further deaths and generate more miasma, creating an endless spiral of despair. To combat this threat, the immortal Tianyuan gods recruit skilled Hunters. These Hunters are supported by Guizhan—individuals trained by the Tianyuan who can absorb miasma and turn into demons themselves, making them essential for fighting the wangliang. After a catastrophe caused by a rogue Guizhan leads to the disbandment of the Sixth Hunter Unit, the Tianyuan assign Ji Ying, Qiao Xun, and Yan Ding—three capable Hunters—the mission of reforming the unit. Unexpectedly, they also order Xiao Ling, the young Guizhan blamed for the previous unit's failure, to join the team. As friction grows among the members, the newly assembled group must overcome their differences and combine their strengths to face their shared enemy.
