Life Lessons with Uramichi-Oniisan

Synopsis

On the children's morning program "Together with Mama," a cast of disillusioned adults puts on cheerful faces and upbeat attitudes to teach life lessons to a room full of young kids. At the forefront is Uramichi Omota, a former gymnast who cannot resist shattering the children's innocence by openly exposing the harsh truths of grown-up life, even while the cameras are rolling. Off-screen, Uramichi's attempts to find some peace are constantly disrupted by his two annoying underlings, who play the show's rabbit and bear mascots and also sing: Utano Tadano, a woman desperate to get married, and Iketeru Daga, a good-looking man known for his tasteless humor. Whether he is having a smoke, exercising, or giving gloomy monologues, the big brother figure Uramichi inevitably reveals the less-than-perfect side of all his lessons.
