Synopsis
Find your spice and live true to yourself. XPICE is an original animated short born from a collaboration between the all-female rock band SCANDAL and company XFLAG. It tells the tale of heroes striving to protect their city while growing through the journey. Filled with a dash of courage, a pinch of teamwork, and a whole lot of heart, the short is directed by Tsubasa Nakai and set to SCANDAL's song "Spice." In Kokyo, a bustling city home to people from all walks of life, the mysterious group Zerogram sets its sights on the populace. However, Red Pepper and Wasabi, a duo from the superhero league XPICE, refuse to stand idly by. While Red Pepper dispatches villains with fiery punches and Wasabi tends to the wounded with a healing touch, things appear smooth on the surface. Deep down, Wasabi feels there must be more to being a hero. One fateful day, an emergency alert sounds: Red Pepper is in trouble! Though uncertain of their chances, witnessing a teammate in danger ignites the courage within Wasabi to rise to the occasion.
