Synopsis
In Momokuri, second-year student Yuki Kurihara secretly takes over a hundred photos of her crush, first-year student Shinya "Momo" Momotsuki, and shadows him for months before finally gathering the courage to confess. Though surprised, the shy Momo agrees to date her, unaware of her unsettling habits, like covertly snapping pictures of him, digging into his personal life, hoarding his used straws, and regularly spying on him. Yuki's sensible friend Norika Mizuyama has taken note of these worrying tendencies. Meanwhile, Momo, still nervous and inexperienced with romance, sometimes ends up in awkward situations but is determined to make Yuki happy. The story follows the couple as they cautiously navigate their budding relationship and the hurdles they encounter together.
Background
The series was reformatted for a TV broadcast that premiered on July 1, 2016. Each 24 minute episode consisted of two 12 minute ONA episodes.
