Powerpuff Girls Z

Synopsis

Professor Utonium and his son Ken are experimenting with the mysterious substance known as Chemical X. When a mochi cake accidentally falls into the mixture, it transforms into Chemical Z. Ken then fires a beam of Chemical Z at a glacier in Tokyo Bay, but this causes strange black and white lights to scatter across the area. The black lights turn anyone they strike into monsters—most notably, a black light hits a zoo monkey, mutating him into Mojo Jojo. Meanwhile, the white lights target three ordinary girls: Momoko, Miyako, and Kaoru. These lights grant them the ability to transform into superheroes, known as the Powerpuff Girls Z!
