Synopsis
In SiNK, Tomioka creates a brightly colored but worn and dreamlike setting where packed commuter trains carry deep-sea divers absorbed in pornographic reading. Sealed inside their diving suits, lacking genuine human contact, these commuters mirror Tomioka's view of Tokyo's train passengers, representing those who hide behind iPods, laptops, and books, afraid of direct personal interaction.
