Synopsis
While living in the United Kingdom, Mitsuru Hanagata forged a resilient personality by confronting harassment directed at Asian individuals. After coming back to Japan, he assumes leadership of a baseball squad composed of delinquent youths and meets his longtime rival, Hyuuma Hoshi. Following success at Koshien, both rivals move into professional baseball, with Hanagata joining the Giants and Hyuuma signing with the Tigers. As they hone their abilities, they clash repeatedly—Hyuuma unleashing his formidable Big League pitch while Hanagata battles with fierce determination.
