Synopsis

This retelling offers a fresh perspective on the familiar Sleeping Beauty legend. While it begins in a similar way to the classic version, the protagonist manages to avoid the curse. Instead, she sets out to uncover the truth about the one who cast it and how that person is connected to her mother. The story contemplates how real happy endings seldom match their perfect fairy-tale depictions.
