Pony Metal U-GAIM Promotion Film

Synopsis

This short promotional film sees Yuu Morisawa, the main character from Creamy Mami, transported into the mecha universe of Heavy Metal L-Gaim. After dying in a car accident, Yuu is reincarnated as Pony Metal U-GAIM, a storyline reminiscent of Astroboy. Set to an energetic Japanese pop song, this genre-blending work was produced by Studio Anime R. Although the concept was inventive, the series never advanced past this pilot due to copyright issues. The film and select merchandise are the only remnants of the project.
