Synopsis

Fifteen years prior, societal collapse unleashed man-eating creatures across a ruined landscape, endangering the few remaining survivors. Within a secluded refuge, children live shielded from these threats, oblivious to the horrors lurking beyond their walls. However, as some individuals begin to uncover truths about the outside world, their curiosity regarding what lies beyond steadily grows. In the barren wilderness, Maru and Kiruko journey toward a fabled destination called Heaven, each driven by their own objectives. Haunted by painful pasts and hidden secrets, they seek solace and answers to the struggles they have endured in this broken world.
