Synopsis
Continues the story of KanColle
In the ongoing conflict against the threatening Abyssal Fleet, a special naval base is established to protect the seas. This base employs Kanmusu—girls who embody the spirits of Japanese warships, armed with specialized equipment to wield their immense abilities. Fubuki, a rookie Destroyer-type Kanmusu, enlists as a new recruit. Despite her inexperience and shy nature, she is assigned to the elite Third Torpedo Squadron and quickly enters combat. After being saved from a sure loss, the newcomer vows to grow as strong as the one who rescued her.
In this installment
With a decisive battle against the Abyssal Fleet at Leyte Gulf drawing near—the Abyssal Fleet being mysterious entities that rule the seas—the Kanmusu, young girls who embody the spirits of warships, prepare to regroup as humanity's final defense. Shigure, a Shiratsuyu-class destroyer, is assigned to the First Striking Force, Third Section, designated 1YB3H. This unit consists of only a handful of surviving Kanmusu and has been deployed as a decoy team. Their assignment is to directly engage the Abyssal Fleet, likely marking their last operation as a group. Despite these grim circumstances, Shigure is resolved to protect her comrades from further casualties. As they set out on what appears to be a perilous voyage toward Leyte Gulf, the members of 1YB3H must come together and endure the trials ahead to demonstrate their strength and courage.
