Synopsis

Continues the story of D4DJ First Mix

In D4DJ First Mix, Rinku Aimoto returns to Japan after being raised in Africa and enrolls at Yoba Academy, a school renowned for its vibrant DJ unit culture where groups of DJs, vocalists, and dancers are immensely popular. There, she meets Maho Akashi, an aspiring DJ who teaches Rinku the fundamentals of mixing. After witnessing a dazzling performance by the school's top unit, Peaky P-key, Rinku and Maho become inspired to form their own DJ unit. They soon bring in Muni Oonaruto, a gifted artist and Rinku's childhood friend, along with Rei Togetsu, a gentle and skilled pianist. Together, their new group, Happy Around, aims to leverage their strong bonds and diverse talents to climb the ranks and achieve nationwide recognition as a leading DJ unit.

In D4DJ All Mix, Lyrical Lily, the well-known DJ group from Arisugawa Academy, brings happiness to the community through music. Because of their achievements, the municipal government asks them to perform once a month for a whole year under Operation Beckoning Cat, a project intended to revitalize the town. Worried they might not live up to these high expectations, Lyrical Lily chooses to work together with other DJ units who helped them when they first started: Happy Around, Photo Maiden, Peaky P-key, Rondo, and Merm4id. The other groups enthusiastically agree, viewing it as an excellent opportunity to display their abilities. Despite the challenging aspects of the project, the passionate members of every DJ unit dedicate themselves to putting on outstanding shows to draw in tourists and newcomers, with the goal of making memories that last for their audiences.
