Synopsis
In 2060, eight-year-old Dorothy and her dog are inexplicably transported from their home world into the dazzling, magical Galaxy of Oz. Ages ago, the wicked witch Gloomhilda terrorized this realm with fear and oppression, until the kind-hearted Dr. Oz forced her out. Now, having gathered a powerful army at the Galaxy's edge, Gloomhilda is poised to seize back her former dominion. Her surprise assault is foiled by Dorothy's unforeseen arrival. Still, Dr. Oz recognizes that Gloomhilda will strike again, and he holds a scheme to purge the Galaxy of her evil permanently. Legend speaks of three mystical crystals—the Crystal of Love, the Crystal of Wisdom, and the Crystal of Courage—which were dispersed across the Galaxy and vanished centuries ago. It is said that whoever gathers all three shall reign over the Galaxy of Oz for all eternity. Under Dr. Oz's direction, Dorothy and a ragtag collection of "heroes" journey forth to comb the Galaxy in search of the three enchanted crystals.
