Synopsis
Unlike the other entries in the Once Upon a Time franchise, Once Upon a Time... Space leans toward dramatic storytelling rather than an educational premise. It still contains a fair amount of educational material, such as an episode that discusses the rings of Planet Saturn. As the successor to Once Upon a Time... Man, the series brings back nearly the entire cast of characters from the previous show and reimagines them in a science-fiction setting. The plot revolves around the clash of several major galactic powers. Among them are the Omega Confederation, of which Earth is a member; the military republic of Cassiopée, led by General Le Teigneux; and a powerful supercomputer that commands an army of robots. Once Upon a Time... Space follows the adventures of Pierrot, the son of Colonel Pierre and President Pierrette, and his friend Psi.
