Synopsis

Continues the story of High School Fleet OVA

After the suppression of the Musashi uprising, the students of Yokosuka Girls' Marine High School have finally been brought back together. However, the Harekaze suffered severe damage in its final battle with the Musashi, possibly making it unfit for any further voyages. Adding to their worries, rumors are circulating that the entire Harekaze-class might be retired because of the ship's condition. The situation grows even more precarious as other classes begin trying to recruit members from the Harekaze crew. Kouko Nosa, the Harekaze's secretary, holds the answer to this crisis—a set of confidential orders she must deliver to the crew—but time is running short.

At Yokosuka Girls' Marine High School, a wave of excitement sweeps through as all-girls maritime schools from different places gather for friendly competitions. Students across various grades come together, celebrating with festivals and tournaments. In the midst of this, Akeno Misaki, captain of the renowned Harekaze class, and her executive officer, Mashiro Munetani, struggle with mixed emotions when their instructor reveals that Mashiro may be assigned to command the Hiei class. This news places Mashiro in an awkward situation and forces Akeno to come to terms with shifting circumstances. To make matters worse, a new crisis strikes Yokosuka. A pirate group seizes control of a water purification plant and a sea fortress, endangering maritime safety. Akeno and Mashiro must steer the Harekaze class through this dangerous scenario while also navigating their own personal conflicts.
