Waiting in the Summer

Synopsis

On a summer evening, Kaito Kirishima is testing his camera on a bridge when he notices a streak of blue light shooting across the sky. Shortly after, he falls from the railing but regains awareness to find a hand pulling him back. The next day, Kaito wakes up in his room, uninjured and with no memory of the previous night's events. Returning to his normal routine, Kaito and his friends discuss what to do with the camera and decide to make a film during the upcoming summer break. When Kaito shows interest in the new senior student, Ichika Takatsuki, his friend Tetsurou Ishigaki invites her and her friend, Remon Yamano, to join their movie project. As summer unfolds, Kaito and his group experience one of the most exciting seasons of their lives. They discover that their time together goes beyond just making a film, leading to deeper bonds and revelations about their true feelings for one another.
