Synopsis

Humanity once obtained a perfect energy source known as "Patia," granting everyone on the planet self-sufficiency in both food and fuel. Trade routes and travel steadily dwindled, and eventually the forward march of civilization ground to a halt. In the present day, genetically engineered plants have spread across almost the entire earth, blocking the paths of those who venture out. Cient, the head of a fortress city, departs on a journey alongside his daughter Ruri to dig up the forgotten Patia technology. After Ruri is separated from her father, she is attacked by a towering humanoid weapon from a past age. A wandering girl named Tekuni, who is traveling the world in training to become a "Wazabito" fighter, comes to her rescue.
