.hack//Versus: The Thanatos Report

Synopsis

The Blu-ray disc for .hack//Sekai no Mukou ni comes with a free copy of the game .hack//Versus, as well as a bonus feature called "The Thanatos Report." This special bridges the story of the game with that of the film and is intended to "reveal the last truth." The main character of the special is Dave, a character who also appears in the primary movie. The events of the special occur across both 2024 (the year the movie takes place) and 2025 (the year the game .hack//Versus takes place).
