Synopsis

Continues the story of Battle Spirits: Saga Brave

The ninth entry in the Battle Spirits series is set in the year 2661 CE, a decade after Bashin Dan’s heroic sacrifice triggered the prevention of Earth’s reset. On the anniversary of that sacrifice, Barone and Clackey host a conference to celebrate both the union between Mazoku and humanity and Dan’s accomplishments. Beneath the surface of this peace, however, a group called Cardinal Sign pushes for human supremacy and the subjugation of Mazoku. The organization employs terrorist attacks, violence, and has somehow acquired the 12 Zodiac X-Rares, which should have disappeared along with Dan. In the midst of this turmoil, the core bearers sense a strange feeling—one they recognize from before. They wonder what this sensation means, and what significance lies behind the card that has appeared in their decks: “The Clash King’s Miracle.”

In this installment

Many centuries after the events of Saga Brave, a third race called the Mauve has appeared alongside Humans and Mazoku. Distinguished by their purple blood and superior intellect, the Mauve are ostracized by the other two races and regarded as a threat to global peace. Having personally endured this prejudice, a young Mauve named Galette Revolt embarks on a journey to discover a way for all races to understand one another through playing Battle Spirits. Meanwhile, factions from each species pursue the preservation of peace or the reformation of the world through far more sinister means.
