Synopsis

Erik Satie's piece "Trois morceaux en forme de poire" might spark abstract geometric images in the minds of those who hear it. Experimental animator Masaki Okuda examines the connection between imagery and sound through a monochrome abstract animation.

Background

Kairaku no Sono features a piano duet by Chitose Yokotsuka and Utako Yoshida. The animation was screened at five events from 2008 to 2011.
