Synopsis
Kozue Ayuhara is a high school girl and passionate volleyball player who dreams of making the Japanese national volleyball team. Throughout the series, she progresses from the school district league to the Japanese volleyball finals, step by step, all the way to the international volleyball championship. However, the faster and higher Kozue climbs the career ladder, the more she encounters the dark side of success: excessive expectations, arrogance, and jealousy gradually turn into serious problems.
