Synopsis
Shun Tokinoya has avoided online gaming ever since a tragic accident claimed his father's life and left his sister injured. Now a dedicated high school student burdened by regret for his past habits, he works at a cybercafe run by his childhood friend Nozomi Inatsuki to support his family financially. However, a recent development forces him back into the gaming world. When all players from FOX ONE—Nozomi’s father’s esports team—suddenly retire, the Inatsuki family faces severe financial trouble. To resolve their debts, Shun reluctantly joins the Xaxerion Championship. Alongside their classmate Akito Sendou, the trio gathers skilled gamers to rebuild the team. Even with two promising new members, victory remains uncertain. Unless Shun can overcome his deep-seated guilt, their newly formed squad has little chance of winning the championship.
