Synopsis
In the peaceful town on Kurken Island, Reisalin "Ryza" Stout finds her everyday life as a farmer's daughter rather dull. While she spends much of her time dreaming and exploring the island, the strict rule preventing residents from leaving Kurken Island only fuels her frustration. Driven by a desire for adventure, Ryza secretly sets sail with her best friends, the scholarly Tao Mongarten and the ambitious fighter Lent Marslink. Upon reaching a nearby forest, they unexpectedly meet Klaudia Valentz, the daughter of a traveling merchant who has also ventured into the woods. As the unprepared group pushes deeper, they face dangerous encounters with wild creatures. Fortunately, they are rescued by the skilled alchemist Empel Vollmer and his formidable bodyguard, Lila Decyrus. This chance meeting introduces Ryza to the captivating world of alchemy, which promises to completely transform her existence.
