Synopsis
Within the imperial palace, Matsurika serves as a lady-in-waiting, known for her remarkable memory. Her fate changes when she is selected to act as a practice partner for a nobleman's arranged marriage interview. To her astonishment, her partner turns out to be Emperor Hakuyou himself, who is assessing prospective brides. Impressed by her abilities, the emperor unexpectedly commands her to sit for the imperial examination. This begins a Chinese-inspired Cinderella tale revolving around the young woman who wins the emperor's favor.
