Synopsis
After Hiroshi throws out his back, a pretty stranger appears out of nowhere and brings him to an Este salon for a free beauty session and massage. When he comes back, he finds that the treatment has turned him into a robot. Shinnosuke is overjoyed, but Misae is worried—especially since Hiroshi is now a naked robot. This new robotic version of Hiroshi proves surprisingly useful; operated by remote control, he can easily cook, clean, and more. Hiroshi later discovers his robotic transformation is tied to the salon. However, the change is actually part of a sinister plot by the "Chichi Yure Doumei (The Association of Fathers)," who want to create an ideal father for all Japanese dads. Soon, fathers all over Japan begin to lose control, causing trouble for the Nohara family and Kasukabe. Right as chaos threatens to take over, Shinnosuke and robot dad Hiroshi step in to save the day. This film features an epic battle between middle-aged men and tells a touching story that brings fathers and families across Japan to tears.
