Synopsis
Tormented without end, Aito Eyama endures the relentless jeers and beatings of his classmates. But a stroke of luck delivers him a mysterious invitation to the "Captivity Game," a competition in which triumph grants unimaginable riches. Entering requires him to take on the role of jailer and select a single victim to hold prisoner for one month. For Eyama, that victim can only be Aya Kirishima, the leader of his tormentors and the root of all his pain. The game's rules are straightforward: the captor is free to treat their prisoner however they see fit, short of murder; yet victory demands that the captor's identity stay concealed. Immunity from prosecution, a secluded cell, and money for whatever supplies are needed—every essential tool is supplied. As Eyama carries out his cruel revenge and so-called "divine" punishment, he comes across other captors, each harboring their own secrets. In the meantime, Aya refuses to play the role of a submissive prisoner and will stop at nothing to break free. But her efforts threaten to stir a dormant darkness within Eyama, one that yearns to be set loose.
