サイダーのように言葉が湧き上がる
Synopsis
Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop follows Yui "Cherry" Sakura, a boy who discovers a passion for writing haiku and posts them online, though they receive hardly any attention. With his family planning to move in August, Cherry takes a summer job at a welfare center. Meanwhile, Yuki "Smile" Hoshino, an aspiring influencer determined to spread happiness, feels insecure about her prominent front teeth with braces and often hides her smile behind a disposable mask. Their paths cross by chance, and Smile also begins working part-time at the welfare center. There, they help an elderly resident named Fujiyama find a cherished vinyl record that he has forgotten. Armed only with the record sleeve and the cryptic clue "yamazakura," Cherry and Smile embark on a quest through the sweltering summer days to locate the record and fulfill Fujiyama's wish.
