Synopsis
Following a night out drinking, Yan Yuechu and his colleague Hu Zhi take shelter from the rain inside Xu Aiyou's escape room facility, XY. Noted for its challenging puzzles and unsettling atmosphere, the escape room captivates them despite the mystery surrounding its creator. Inside the game, they have one hour to solve various puzzles and move through the rooms. They complete the game successfully, but the experience leaves them haunted by glimpses into Xu Aiyou's complex past. The next day, Yan Yuechu receives a warning letter advising him to avoid escape rooms entirely. Unable to get clear information from Xu Aiyou, Yan Yuechu finds himself caught between reality and dreams as he faces another puzzle to escape his own bedroom. As the boundary between dream and reality blurs, Yan Yuechu must uncover the secrets of XY to preserve his sanity.
