Synopsis

Arata Asaoka lives under the oppressive rule of his cruel, sexist father and older brother. As a child born outside of marriage, he feels no connection to his biological father and endures years of abuse. Yet he hides his pain behind a brave front. Everything changes when he meets Koharu Hinomoto, who feels like a ray of light. Every moment with her brings him happiness, and he falls deeply in love, believing they can form a caring family together. To escape his toxic household, Arata resolves to leave and build a life with Koharu, even if it means facing financial hardship. He is certain that with her, he can create a warm and supportive home.
