Synopsis
By the year A.D. 2010, every male on Earth has died off in quick succession, brought down by a sudden shift in the environment and a contaminant of unknown origins. Humanity's numbers reach their lowest point in recorded history, leaving only women alive. They huddle together in small pockets of a world that nature has largely taken back. Some accept that extinction is unavoidable and choose to live out their days freely... Some look to science in hopes of carrying the race forward... Their clashing ideals and policies give rise to a society torn by constant strife. The story unfolds in the center of Tokyo, one of the few remaining places left to them. There, the fight over the "ICE" specimen—and the hope it carries for humanity's survival—begins.
