Gamera: Rebirth

Synopsis

Last summer. Friends. And kaiju. It's the summer of 1989, and sixth graders Boko, Joe, and Junichi are spending their final vacation as elementary school students. Their ordinary days are shattered when a monster called Gyaos suddenly attacks Tokyo. The four of them stand frozen in a city reduced to rubble. Just as Gyaos locks its gaze on them, a gigantic turtle-shaped kaiju appears before the boys. Its name is Gamera. Despite its wounds, Gamera throws itself into battle against Gyaos with everything it has. This is only the beginning of the boys' "Summer of Kaiju."
