Jinwu Guard: The Wind Rises in Jinling

Synopsis

In the imperial capital, a series of mysterious murders involving lightning and flames, along with vicious rat-like soldiers causing chaos, gives rise to speculation linked to the hidden truths of a former dynasty—truths erased by those very elements. An unseen force brings together three very different individuals. Jing Yifei, the distant and authoritative head of the Jinwu Guard, is assigned to solve the riddle of the rat soldiers. Meanwhile, Bai Qi, a hermit and descendant of Jieyi living in the mountains, is sent by their mentor to track down a young machinist for the Jinwu Guard. But the person Bai Qi discovers, Qin Ming, turns out to be a fraudulent trickster and kidnapper. As the three work together, they gradually draw nearer to the truth behind the Thunder Fire.
