Synopsis
In the realm of Alneath, a five-century-old conflict between immortal spellcasters and humans wielding enchanted artifacts scarred the land. The war ended when the mortal hero Gram slew the Demon Lord Veltol Velvet Velsvolt. In the year 2099, a technological Earth and Alneath have merged due to an event called Fantasion. Immortals are now rare, hunted nearly to extinction, while mortals use magical implants called Familia to wield magic. In this transformed world, Veltol's loyal follower Machina Solege revives her master in Shinjuku, a futuristic city built from the ruins. However, Veltol's powers are severely drained, and his former ally Marcus has betrayed him. To regain his lost glory and strength, Veltol follows the advice of Takahashi, Machina's tech-savvy associate, and starts an unconventional quest: live streaming. His sharp humor and amusingly poor gaming skills draw a following, but to restore his former status, Veltol must uncover Shinjuku's secrets and stop Marcus' treacherous schemes.
