Synopsis
Kiitarou's Yokai Picture Diary follows a young boy named Kiitarou as he interacts with various yokai. Because of his unusually strong spiritual sensitivity, Kiitarou is compelled to move out of his family's house after venturing into a forbidden storage room. In his new home, he encounters Suzu, a zashiki warashi, and the two begin drawing different supernatural creatures, including a nurikabe that appears as an unbreakable wall and a mokumokuren visible as eyes peering through a torn paper screen. What other legendary beings will they come across?
