Holmes of Kyoto

Synopsis

Half a year after moving out, high school student Aoi Mashiro decides to go back home and confront her ex-boyfriend following their recent breakup. To fund her trip, she takes two scrolls from her grandfather's attic and heads to an antique shop in Kyoto's Teramachi Sanjou area, unaware of the important encounter waiting for her. At the shop, she meets Kiyotaka Yagashira, the grandson of the owner and a Kyoto University graduate student. Nicknamed Holmes for his surname and sharp deductive skills, Kiyotaka examines the scrolls and detects an intuitive sense in Aoi similar to his own. Moved by her situation and recognizing her potential, he offers her a part-time job so she can earn the money she needs independently. As they begin working together at the shop and helping locals with their problems, Aoi and Kiyotaka form a dynamic duo. With Kiyotaka's deductive abilities and Aoi's intuition, this modern Holmes and Watson partnership is ready to take on any challenge that comes their way.
