Synopsis

Continues the story of Future Card Buddyfight

Future Card Buddyfight is an anime adaptation of the trading card game bearing the same name. Set in the near future, the Buddyfight card game acts as a portal to another dimension through special Buddy Rare Cards, which function as gateways between worlds. Monsters from that alternate realm come to form bonds with humans, becoming their buddies. Through courage and the power of friendship, players of all ages engage in Buddyfights, which are non-violent competitions. The story follows Gaou Mikado, a newcomer to the Buddyfight game. As events unfold, the nature of these Buddyfights grows increasingly serious and real.

In this installment

While Tasuku undergoes training and recovery in the monster realm, the Buddy Police selects several champions to protect Earth, including Gao, Tetsuya, and Zanya Kisaragi. At that moment, a new threat emerges: Ikazuchi and the dangerous 100 rogue monsters. The newly appointed trainees and the Great 8 monsters must now fight to prevent Earth from being consumed by these renegade creatures.
