Synopsis
Forty-year-old Satoshi Osako works as a farmer in rural Japan and is an obsessive player of Swords & Sorceries, an online VRRPG. The moment he finally beats the game's final boss, it curses him with its final breath and kills him in real life. With assistance from a carefree goddess, Satoshi is reborn in a mysterious new world as his in-game avatar, the extremely powerful Great Sage named Zelos Merlin. He decides to use his abilities to...keep living a quiet life on yet another farm. But first, he must battle his way out of the vast, dangerous forest where he woke up—thanks a lot, goddess—and it doesn't take long before he encounters bandits, gets talked into teaching magic to a young noble girl, and more. Can the almighty Great Sage overcome the toughest challenge of all: securing a little peace and quiet?
