Synopsis
Seventeen-year-old Kei Miyama hails from a family endowed with peculiar gifts. His grandfather draws birds to him as though he were the very wind carrying them through the sky. Kei, however, can communicate with cars and finds their company preferable to that of humans—especially women. After relocating to Iceland, he earns his living as a freelance detective. Whether untangling lovers' disputes, tracking down missing individuals, or retrieving lost belongings, Kei takes on one case after another, journeying alone across the desolate roads that stretch over Iceland's rugged terrain. Yet the secrets of this land of ice and fire are not the only enigmas he must confront: an encounter with a distant Icelandic beauty stirs memories of local legends about ghosts that wander the wilds after dark.
