On the day that Komako is to move in with her boyfriend, he runs away from her, which is a terrible experience. The interior of the izakaya, run by the friendly owner, has a certain warmth to it, and she is cheered by the delicious food, drinks, and words of the people inside, and she finds herself talking about her past with him... This small izakaya provides a small light for people who have reached a dead end in love, marriage, and life.
