Liao Xi is a firm believer in the ideal perfect love. As a "Love Appraiser", she exposes men's lies for her clients. Is she safeguarding 'true love' or destroying it? Is she exposing lies or creating tragedies? Using lies to verify the truth— is the "truth" obtained this way real or fake? Her world shifts when she meets the "perfect man" Bei and falls deeply in love. One of Bei’s close friends, Gong, a comic artist, happens to be one of her clients’ unfaithful partners and is deeply in love with 'Jiang Yifan', a character played by Liao Xi; and he makes Liao Xi question her beliefs about love. Meanwhile, Bei’s rowdy friends— Xiu, Luan, and Sen— are also experiencing their own joys and struggles with love and marriage, wrestling with their beliefs about love.
