The time is the Middle Ages, in the Kingdom of Arabella. The Marshalls are a "blood-stained royal clan" who are willing and able to kill for the throne. Anne is a princess raised by the Marshalls. Kirke is a tarot reader living in the slums. Two people who should never have met... Their challenge is the steep and treacherous "Royal Road," as their "hidden destiny" is set into motion.
