A new generation of cutting-edge robots has made their debut. They are capable of independent thought and programmed never to harm humans. But a solar-radiation blast scrambles their circuits, and the robots begin to attack everyone within sight. Masa is just a boy trying to save his mother, but in doing so, he loses everything.
