Han Se-Young, an ordinary high school student, witnesses her childhood friend Kim Jin-Seo's suicide and subsequent resurrection as a living corpse. After coming into contact with the now-dead Jin-Seo, Se-Young becomes infected with a parasite called "Weeper," gaining extraordinary physical abilities. This leads to her recruitment into the "Secret Life Safety Bureau," a secret police force tasked with eliminating Weeper.
