In the 20th century, a secret military project which sends signals into space to establish contact with aliens makes a breakthrough in progress. An alien civilization on the brink of destruction captures the signal and plans to invade Earth. Meanwhile, on Earth, different camps start forming, planning to either welcome the superior beings and help them take over a world seen as corrupt, or to fight against the invasion.

San Ti began as a web comic in 2019 and was later published in book format by Zhejiang Literature and Art Publishing House (浙江文艺出版社) in February 2023. It's an adaptation of the first book of Liu Cixin's Remembrance of Earth's Past series. The series has been published digitally in English as The Three-Body Problem by Webnovel. The volumes have been published by Yen Press since October 22, 2024.
