Summary
Maki is Karin’s best friend at school, a cheerful girl who typically keeps her long hair tied back in a ponytail. She stands by Karin through all her troubles, yet she cannot resist teasing her mercilessly about Kenta. Maki remains unaware that Karin is a vampire. Although she was the only girl who did not immediately swoon over Winner when he first arrived at school, she is slowly beginning to develop feelings for him, even though he is constantly trying to romance Karin. Winner’s habit of referring to her merely as "Karin's friend" consistently annoys Maki.
