Summary
Bantou serves as the ruthless proprietor of the establishment that holds Shino's debt, maintaining a tight grip on her contract. He makes his debut during a window-shopping incident, where he instructs his subordinates to assault Jin upon discovering the samurai lacks the funds to pay. Later, Fuu overhears him speaking without compassion regarding Shino's plight while they are in a restaurant. When Shino attempts to flee, Bantou arrives to demand an extension fee and tries to seize her, but she leaps into Jin’s arms below. The confrontation escalates onto the street, where Bantou and his men intercept the pair, leading to a physical altercation.
