Haqua du Lot Herminium serves as the tritagonist in The World God Only Knows series. Standing at 162 cm with a birthday on April 24, she is over 300 years old. Initially, she acts as the role model and best friend to Elsie, although she denies their friendship at the start. Haqua holds the position of District Chief of Area 32 in Nagumo City. Recognized as the valedictorian of her grade, she is considered highly intelligent, yet she is not among the top members of the Runaway Spirit Squad. She is harsh on herself and aggressive, but shows a soft side to close friends like Elsie. Having grown up independent, she is reluctant to accept help and works hard to hide faults to protect her reputation. Nora has noted that Haqua is too honest and trusts others too easily. Her battle style is unique, involving specific body movements and scythe usage. She can cast more spells than Elsie, including the ability to burn enemies or those she dislikes. Haqua is book-smart and can make her scythe emit azure flames. This power seems inherent to the scythe, as she retains the ability to control the flames as mid-range projectiles even after being fired. The flames are hot enough to melt and destroy a Vintage communicator in seconds. Like Elsie, Haqua can fly, create dolls, and change object appearances using her hagoromo skills. She can also perform video playbacks of the past, typically covering a few days, a skill unique to her. Even after losing her hagoromo, she remains skilled with spells learned in school, capable of flying at high velocity by managing twenty different types of spells simultaneously.
