Umesada, Toshimori
Summary
Toshimori Umesada holds the position of 20th seat within the 9th Division, a rank he shares with fifteen other Shinigami. As the lecherous leader of a squad tasked with hunting down intruders in Soul Society, he inadvertently permits Orihime Inoue and Uryū Ishida to evade capture by allowing them to pose as Shinigami within his unit. He attempts to make advances toward Orihime, but Uryū reminds him of their mission, causing Toshimori to cease his behavior. Enraged that an unseated officer dared to check him, Toshimori threatens Uryū when another member of his squad calls for him. However, rather than carrying out the threat immediately, he tells Uryū they will settle the matter later and resumes the search for the intruders. This confrontation never comes to pass, as Uryū points out that he and his companions will have already departed long before any such resolution can occur.
